Tenita Brown serves as Chief Financial Officer of CT Youth Advocacy since July, 2021.
Ms. Brown has been a healthcare professional working in the healthcare for the last 40 years. She worked for Kaiser Permanente holding several positions specializing in Workers' Compensation, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Revenue Cycle and Medical Coding. Holds a certification as a Workers' Compensation Professional, and a certified Professional in Disability Management.
After leaving Kaiser Permanente, Ms. Brown continues to provide service to Veterans at the Long Beach Veteran's Hospital in Health Information Management. She is also working on creating and broadcasting her own podcast and other opportunities to create generation wealth for her family.
Ms. Brown graduated from Compton High School. Earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Leadership & Management from the University of La Laverne in Southern California.
Born and raised in Compton, California and continues to live in Southern California, Ms. Brown enjoys traveling, reading, R&B & cotemporary jazz music, and spending time with her grandchildren.
